I am a HUGE coupon clipper, and I just recently learned that your expired coupons can be used by military families. The coupons must be clipped and can not be more than 3 months old. They must also be manufacturer's coupons from a newspaper or magazine (no internet printable's).
I weed my coupons out usually at the end of the month and instead of tossing them in the garbage, I now toss them in envelope and mail them off to be used by those serving our country.
